About

This program guides university students with disabilities through the transition from high school IEPs and 504 plans to the self-advocacy required in higher education. You will learn how to navigate the University's Accessibility Resource Center (ARC), gather essential medical documentation, and prepare for intake meetings to secure meaningful accommodations like attendance flexibility and sensory-safe testing. By building a personalized Accommodation Binder, you will gain tools to manage university bureaucracy and champion your academic rights. Grounded in the mission of The Paced Scholar, this course provides practical strategies for students with chronic illnesses, neurodivergence, or physical disabilities to thrive with dynamic pacing needs.
